Exterior Cleaning Services in Selby

Main concern was the pointing, which isn't in wonderful condition. They checked it before starting and discussed what the cleaning could and couldn't do.

No suggestion it would repair anything. I was comfortable going ahead once we'd covered that. The slabs are cleaner and I know which joints need attention next.

A useful explanation beforehand about the limestone and the cleaner they intended to use. I wanted to be confident about that before proceeding.

The work was carried out as discussed and the paving has improved considerably. I was pleased that the questions were answered patiently.

The paving outside our bakery was looking grubby no matter how often we swept it. It's come up beautifully after the clean.

We arranged access before our customer-facing opening hours, with the staff movements discussed beforehand. Very pleased to have the entrance looking cared for again.

I liked being given one clear figure for the clean and re-sanding. A couple of other enquiries had left me less sure what the final bill would be.

Elephant did everything listed, including clearing away the muck afterwards. I didn't add any treatments. For what I wanted, the standard work was enough, and I felt comfortable with the price.

We chose cleaning without sealing. Elephant explained the options and left us to decide, which suited me.

The paving looks better and the quote matched the final bill. Nothing complicated about arranging the work.

Elephant treated a single stained gable for us. There was no suggestion that a small booking was inconvenient.

The quotation covered that wall and the work was completed as described. I thought the charge was reasonable and would use the company for other walls when required.

We decided to have sealing as well as cleaning, after seeing how the proposed finish looked on a small area. I'm glad we took that time because I wasn't sure what to expect.

The cost was set out separately and we were given instructions about using the drive afterwards. Everything was handled patiently, with no feeling that we needed to make an immediate decision.

Having the work done during an agreed quiet period made it manageable for us. Staff knew which entrance to use and there was no confusion.

Our roof is old and I wanted somebody who would take that into account. The proposed method was explained before I agreed to anything, including how they would reach it without walking across the tiles.

I found that reassuring. The finished roof still looks its age, just considerably cleaner, which suits me perfectly well.

Good job. I asked for the rear and side walls, they quoted for those and treated both.

Nothing added on the day. Some marks were still showing initially, but I knew the treatment needed time. They're much less obvious now. I checked the area round the house afterwards and it had been left neat. Would book again.

Had a few quotes and these were clear about what was being cleaned. That won them the job as much as the price.

We wanted the main paved area and the narrow bit round the side, which is easy to overlook. Both were done. I checked afterwards and there was no dirty heap left round the corner for someone else to shift. Happy with the work and would get them back.

Ash actually asked when our staff arrive, rather than assuming a closed shop meant an empty building. That made the planning easier.

We agreed the access arrangements and everyone knew what to expect. The entrance looks considerably better now.
